My name is Jaklyn and photography has become a pretty quick passion in my life. I’ve always enjoyed using a camera any chance I could and would always beg my dad to let me use the camcorder for family events growing up. Since finally investing in a camera of my own I’ve come to respect all that it takes to truly capture beautiful moments. The creativity and craftsmanship behind photography is what got me hooked. Natural light and outdoor photography is my favorite. I genuinely enjoy getting to step behind the camera and into special moments with people that they can look back on for years!
Big things to know about me: I love Jesus and I love my family & friends wholeheartedly. I’m very happily married, like super happily, to my best friend for almost 11 years. He’s my safe place and teammate in all things. We have the coolest daughter, hayden lily, that makes me laugh and strive to grow into a better version of myself every day. She’s the inspiration behind a lot that I do, including this page and its title. We also have two dogs that drive us crazy but make coming home even sweeter. Golden sunsets, colorful mountains, and spending the day on the river make me real happy. Few things are better than breakfast food and if you can quote The Office or Friends with me we’ll be REALLY quick friends. As I’ve gotten older I’ve learned there is something truly special about surrounding yourself with the best kind of people- the ones that make you more kind, humble, and sincerely happy. Authentic moments with good people is my favorite.
